Ranch Rules & Regulations Print E-mail
  1. The Ranch waiver must be signed before entering the Ranch. Everyone rides at their own risk. Know your limitations and do not exceed the capabilities of your vehicle.
  2. No alcoholic beverages or mind-altering substances, which may impair a person's judgment, are allowed in the trail riding area. Alcoholic beverages are allowed only in the campground and any illegal substances are strictly prohibited at the Ranch.
  3. No one is allowed to possess any dangerous or controlled substances including, but not limited to firearms and explosives within the park.
  4. Litter laws are strictly enforced. Place litter in an appropriate trash receptacle or "Pack It In, Pack It Out."
  5. No hunting is allowed at the Ranch.
  6. Dogs are allowed but must be on a leash and supervised at all times. NO Rots, Dobermans or Pits allowed. If your dog is aggressive toward people or other animals do not bring it. If a problem occurs you may be asked to leave the Ranch.
  7. DOGS are allowed only in campers or on leashes. This will be enforced! NO DOGS allowed on the trails, in the rooms, or in the dining hall. You are responsible for your animals. NO EXCEPTIONS!
  8. Campsite fires must be kept inside the designated fire rings. Fire rings are not to be moved. Do not burn metal or glass in the fire rings.
  9. We are not responsible for accidents to man or beasts.
  10. We reserve the right to reject any entry.
  11. All horses transported to the facilities must have negative Coggins test.
  12. Children ages 14 and under are required to wear helmets while riding. (minimum protection bicycle helmet) Riding double will not be permitted.
  13. Horses that kick, or are extremely aggressive must wear red tail ribbons at all times.
  14. No rough riding, racing, and NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OR ILLEGAL DRUGS OF ANY KIND.
  15. No motorcycles or ATV’S.
  16. All camps must be quiet by 12:00 a.m.
  17. No stallions without special approval.
  18. No feed may be stored in stalls.
  19. Everyone must be registered. All visitors must register through office.
  20. Swimming or bathing horses is not permitted in creeks or rivers.
  21. If your horse damages a tree, you will be expected to replace the tree at a fee of $150.00 or more.
  22. A meeting will be held the night before a ride begins to familiarize riders with rules and policies.

We are absolutely not responsible for injuries or death to animals or humans. Participate at your own risk. ALL HORSES MUST HAVE CURRENT NEGATIVE COGGINS TEST PAPERS TO ENTER.

 

Liabilities
All persons who attend this trail ride do so at their own risk. All are advised of MO Senate Bill 457 and the following: WARNING UNDER MISSOURI LAW AN EQUINE PROFESSIONAL IS NOT LIABLE FOR AN INJURY TO OR THE DEATH OF A PARTICIPANT IN EQUINE ACTIVITIES RESULTING FROM THE INHERENT RISKS OF EQUINE ACTIVITIES PURSUANT TO THE REVISED STATUES OF MISSOURI
